Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday were each very good days. That means just 1 day sucked. We had trips take place throughout the last week, and we fished smallmouths exclusively. Compared to the week(s) prior, the pre-spawn bite wasn't nearly as explosive. My boat has been targeting big fish only. As you know, this is not possible to achieve on all waters, as the reality is that each lake has a top-end. But for those of you who know me well and know my fishing and trip planning habits even better, those big fish waters were my sole focus all week with the exception of two fisheries (TFF and an action lake).
